Tripping the light fantastic

Novem­ber Feast will be burst­ing with enter­tain­ment. Below is an out­line of what is in store and where. Look out for the tim­ings on the day;

The Car­ribe Steel Band — an ener­get­ic steel band guar­an­teed to get even the cold­est feet tap­ping. They’ve reduced their fee because we are a com­munity event.
Fancy dress parade and com­pet­i­tion — come dressed in your finest fancy dress for a parade and com­pet­i­tion judged by our very own street per­former.
Lam­beth Play Asso­ci­ation — free fun for kids with games and toys, as well as spook­tacu­lar face paint­ing.

Col­our­ing com­pet­i­tion — add some col­our to your day at the Garden­ers Corner, and maybe win a prize!
Bird Feed­er Work­shop — come and make your very own bird feed­er out of recycled mater­i­als with Kate from Tom & Amelia. There will be mater­i­als but people can bring along their old plastic bottles to be recycled into bird feed­ers.
Crys­tal Palace Trans­ition Towns will at the exchange hub to tell all about the trans­ition towns story, share know­ledge and how you to get involved

Rosette Mak­ing work­shop — come and make your very own rosette badge. Everything’s provided, so just bring your ima­gin­a­tion!
Makery Cafe — stave off that winter cold with some deli­cious, healthy food at the Makery Cafe.

Dia­mond Jive — reg­u­lars Dia­mond Jive will spring into action once again, lindy hop­ping their way through the day.

DD Glee – a mash ups of clas­sic songs that will have you singing and dan­cing in the aisles.
Storytelling — come and hear some yarns for young and old alike.
Liberty Dance — join in and learn how to break, pop and do the robot with this street dance class.

Jason Mav­er­ick – an amaz­ing street per­former who juggles and mimes his way through the day.
Reg­u­lars Sweet Thursday, Matt Allin and D’Arcy will be play­ing between ARTISANS and the CHURCH STEPS.
