November Feast will be bursting with entertainment. Below is an outline of what is in store and where. Look out for the timings on the day;
FOOD
The Carribe Steel Band – an energetic steel band guaranteed to get even the coldest feet tapping. They’ve reduced their fee because we are a community event.
Fancy dress parade and competition – come dressed in your finest fancy dress for a parade and competition judged by our very own street performer.
Lambeth Play Association – free fun for kids with games and toys, as well as spooktacular face painting.
GARDENING
Colouring competition – add some colour to your day at the Gardeners Corner, and maybe win a prize!
Bird Feeder Workshop – come and make your very own bird feeder out of recycled materials with Kate from Tom & Amelia. There will be materials but people can bring along their old plastic bottles to be recycled into bird feeders.
Crystal Palace Transition Towns will at the exchange hub to tell all about the transition towns story, share knowledge and how you to get involved
ARTISANS
Rosette Making workshop – come and make your very own rosette badge. Everything’s provided, so just bring your imagination!
Makery Cafe – stave off that winter cold with some delicious, healthy food at the Makery Cafe.
RETRO
Diamond Jive – regulars Diamond Jive will spring into action once again, lindy hopping their way through the day.
ST LUKES
DD Glee – a mash ups of classic songs that will have you singing and dancing in the aisles.
Storytelling – come and hear some yarns for young and old alike.
Liberty Dance – join in and learn how to break, pop and do the robot with this street dance class.
ALL OVER
Jason Maverick – an amazing street performer who juggles and mimes his way through the day.
Regulars Sweet Thursday, Matt Allin and D’Arcy will be playing between ARTISANS and the CHURCH STEPS.
