VOLUNTEER DAY IN WEST NORWOOD
We are organising a volunteer-led clean up day on Saturday 14th July from 10.30am. Our aim is to clear and tidy the cobbled area to the right of Nettlefold Hall in the hope that it can be used on Feast days, and more regularly once the Nettlefold foyer is opened in August.
St Luke’s has also gleefully accepted the offer from Feast of planting a few flowers in the little grass area that tends to become like Glastonbury on a bad day i.e. muddy.
If you’re keen to help, we’ll be meeting at 10.30am outside Nettlefold Hall. Bring some gardening/ heavy duty gloves, a bin bag or two and any tools or equipment you think might be useful. Floral Hall have kindly offered the use of a long hose and we’ve got power from the Cemetery for a pressure washer so boots would be handy too.
O Girasol have generously offered FREE tea and coffee to volunteers helping out, and there might even be some biscuits on offer too.
It would be good to know who may be able to have some fun with us so do RSVP to hello@westnorwoodfeast.comwestnorwoodfeast.com
WE CAN DO IT!
