November Feast is upon us and this month there’s plenty to do for the culture vultures amongst you!
This Sunday 7 October we will ‘Feast on our History’ by celebrating Black History Month with a progamme of events, including drumming workshops, poetry and history talks. We will be celebrating the harvest as we always do by asking you to bring Foodbank donations and to join in with the St Luke’s and Chatsworth choirs when they sing. There will also be a Dog Show!
This Sunday is a Historic Feast! We will be celebrating our local history, while eating delicious food, listening to great bands and hanging out together
The heatwave isn’t over yet – Sunday’s FEAST theme is Summer! Expect gardening tips to handle drought, knotted hankies and as much shade as we can muster.
It’s the World Cup and Wimbledon this month so July 1st Feast is a Sports Feast! Look out for promos on social media for anything local to get you moving, as well as free sporting activities happening on the day!
June’s Feast is a colourful World Feast! West Norwood is a very diverse a neighbourhood and will be asking Feast goers to mark on world maps where their family, friends and West Norwood neighbours are from. We hope to create an image out of this which shows how many different nationalities and languages there are in our neighbourhood. The world within West Norwood!
