What you’ll find at the FEAST!

The West Nor­wood Feast takes place from 10am until 4pm on the first Sunday of every month, April to Decem­ber. It’s about more than the hand­ing over of money for goods – it’s a cel­eb­ra­tion of the diversity, tal­ent and entre­pren­eur­i­al skills in the area.

Find us

The mar­ket is dis­trib­uted around five sites; Artis­ans’ Mar­ket (Chats­worth Way, SE24 9HR), Food Fair (in the garden of St Luke’s church, Nor­wood High St, Lon­don SE27 0DT), Retro Vil­lage (car park of Rosebery’s Auc­tion Rooms, 74–76 Knight’s Hill, Lon­don SE27 0JD), Fam­ily Hub (out­side the West Nor­wood Health & Leis­ure Centre, Devane Way SE27 0DF) and Fresh & Green (along Nor­wood Road from the corner of York Hill, SE27 9AF).

Nearest tube: Brix­ton (Vic­tor­ia Line), then take a num­ber 196, 2 or 432 bus into West Nor­wood.

Nearest rail­way sta­tions: West Nor­wood (2 minutes walk from Retro Vil­lage, Fam­ily Hub and Food Fair) & Tulse Hill (5 minute walk up Nor­wood Road into West Nor­wood)

There is also the quaint little 315 from Bal­ham and Streath­am…

Chats­worth Way

The Artis­ans’ Mar­ket is a buzz of cre­ativ­ity and excite­ment. Here you’ll find artists demon­strat­ing their craft, offer­ing work­shops and selling their wares, which could be any­thing from hand­made pot­tery, jew­ellery, T-shirts, toys, bags, candles and knick-knacks to stun­ning pho­to­graphy and art.

Food Fair

Out­side St Lukes Church

Wheth­er you’re a keen food­ie, com­mit­ted to local pro­duce, or simply fancy a bite to eat, the Food Mar­ket will sat­is­fy your crav­ings. Here you’ll find an expert­ise and pas­sion for food that means great pro­duce, along­side the intim­ate know­ledge and exper­i­ence of those who genu­inely care about food.

Retro Village

Out­side Rosebery’s Auc­tion Rooms

Enjoy a visit to Retro Vil­lage to cre­ate a per­fect retro out­fit or clas­sic vin­tage look, from shoes, bags and hats to dresses, jack­ets, and accessor­ies. Along­side the cloth­ing rails are lov­ingly re-made and reclaimed fur­nish­ings, kit­chenalia, advert­ise­ment signs, Lady­bird books, curios and many more cool, often unique, pieces. There is also a book crossing where you can bring a book you’ve read and want to share — and replace it with one that someone else has!  What’s more, each month Retro Vil­lage is dif­fer­ent in the goods that are sold – come along and find out which treas­ures are wait­ing to be found.

Rosebery’s have gen­er­ously let the Retro Vil­lage fill their fore­court, a per­fect vin­tage venue for it. Rosebery’s is South London’s fine art and antique auc­tion house. Auc­tions are held monthly, fea­tur­ing dec­or­at­ive arts; ceram­ics and glass; sil­ver and sil­ver plate; jew­ellery; paint­ings, water­col­ours and prints; toys and col­lect­ors items; works of art and fur­niture, mod­ern design and rugs. Fresh ‘n’ Green

Corner of Nor­wood Road & York Hill, also some­times stalls beside Beam­ish & McGlue.

Fresh ‘n’ Green aims to have a vari­ety of stalls with the emphas­is on good qual­ity fresh pro­duce (meat, fruit & veg, cheese, olives) sourced from local pro­du­cers where pos­sible. We also fea­ture fresh juices, pickles and pre­serves, teas from around the world, plants and flowers and fresh pop­corn, as well as a children’s book stall. If you think you may fit in to Fresh n Green, please do con­tact us to dis­cuss.

Our aim is that people can now do a week’s shop­ping at Feast and local shops.

Family Hub

Out­side the West Nor­wood Health and Leis­ure Centre on Devane Way, entrance oppos­ite West Nor­wood train sta­tion.

If you wish to leave fly­ers or advert­ise at FEAST HQ or any of the hubs, you will need to get per­mis­sion before the event by email­ing hello@westnorwoodfeast.com with details of your flyer/advertisment. As a rule we do not accept any­thing of a polit­ic­al nature or busi­nesses that can­not be vouched for. Please note, if you turn up hop­ing to advert­ise on a FEAST day without prior notice, we will have to decline.
