Sunday 7 Aug 2022

August Feast is here, sun and fun in West Norwood!

All four Hubs are open, check the map below to locate them;

Artisans’ Market – on Chatsworth Way – for beautiful gifts, artworks and handmade goods from local artists. This month we are joined by many of our regular traders and new trader Corinne Alexander.

Fresh n Green – outside the Picturehouse – for great stalls selling delicious cold food, household goods and much more. Including, our very own South London Theatre to find out about upcoming shows and young people’s drama classes. Eco friendly Local Greens will be encouraging you to sign up to their food box scheme with locally sourced fresh produce.

Food Fair – in St Luke’s garden – for some delicious street food. Choose from 14 different stalls with food from around the world. Don’t forget to grab a tasty tipple from the Sweet Carolina Bar.

Village Green – in front of the Leisure Centre – for a wide range of interesting stalls selling vintage items, gifts, handmade and eco-friendly goods and delicious cakes. We welcome new trader Clementine Loves selling quality handpicked second hand womenswear and accessories.

GREAT FREE ENTERTAINMENT

On St Luke’s porch by Food Fair: We are delighted to welcome back BennettValuks to Feast. Expect some great well known tunes plus their own compositions.

Ian Bennett and Benedict Valuks started making music together in late 2018, brought together through the bustling and vibrant south London music scene and their love of alt-folk, finger-style guitar and vocal harmonies. They perform an eclectic mix of original songs and covers that hold meaning to them.

Village Green: DJ Glen will be playing his usual fantastic selection of soul tunes to brighten up your Sunday. As if that wasn’t enough fantastic music, don’t forget Glen’s free after Feast party in the yard at Portico Gallery.

FREE FUN FOR KIDS

‘Movers&Makers’ are taking a well earned holiday in August but will be back in September. In the meantime, we will have colouring in activities at all the Hub gazebos.

The map below will help you to plan your visit and check out the up to date info on our social media. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
