September Art Feast

Welcome to September Art Feast!

We are delighted to be launching a fantastic new project in association with Station 2 Station, the Curious SE27 Art Trail which will stretch the whole length of the high street from Rosebery’s to Lantana Estates next to Tulse Hill Station.

Pick up the Curious SE27 Leaflet at Feast, take a look at the map and get exploring!

There will also be hands-on artistic activities going on during the day – you can create a mosaic at Family Wellbeing or explore patterns based on the work of famous artists at Artisans.

Plus, at the Portico Gallery you can view and bid on artworks donated by local artists and others, to be auctioned at Lambeth Open in October to raise funds for Southside Rehabilitation Association, a local mental health charity. Place a bid now and you could be a winner in October!

Family Wellbeing will be extra busy this month as Retro Village will be hosted there for the month of September – two hubs for the price of one! This is due to an upcoming auction at Rosebery’s, so there will be an auction viewing on Sunday – Decades of Design, viewings 10am–2pm at Rosebery’s.

Don’t forget also that you can buy a child’s packed lunch at Family Wellbeing: a very reasonable £2.50 for a ham or cheese sandwich, a piece of fruit, a bag of crisps and water or squash in a cup. Lunches go on sale about 11.30 and often sell out fast at busy Feasts (which September usually is!), so head up there early to avoid disappointment.

Plus we will have the usual packed entertainments schedule, with favourite performers, DJs and new talent on offer, Poetry Slabs at the Library –  and including our very own West Norwood’s Got Talent, WiNGiT, at Family Wellbeing.

Finally, if you haven’t checked out the WeNo blog lately, why not have a nose around and discover our latest local business to be featured, B’s Balloons?
