It’s the World Cup and Wimbledon this month so July 1st Feast is a Sports Feast! Look out for promos on social media for anything local to get you moving, as well as free sporting activities happening on the day!
There will be traditional school sports day races up on the hill – sack races, 3 legged races, bean bag on your head and apple and spoon. You can even make your own cardboard medallions on a string. Everyone’s a winner!
There will be representatives from various local organisations who spend their time getting people moving, so you might get rugby tackled by Brixton Bulls www.brixtonbulls.com or opted into a triathlon by the Windrush Triathlon Club. https://windrushtri.co.uk
Sally will be back with her art table at Artisans’ Market. This month she and the kids will be designing beautiful footballs, tennis balls and cricket balls – and she’s bringing Subbuteo to play too!
