We’re excited to bring you another packed programme for our 3rd Stay Home Feast.
As with the #StayHomeFeast that you all know and love, we’ll be bringing you information about our favourite Traders – including exclusive special offers – along with a great entertainment schedule and activities for kids.
We’re sure you’re keen to know our plans for the rest of the year now that the government are lifting restrictions.
We are working closely with Lambeth to ensure that our future plans are well thought out, safe and workable. Safety is our primary concern, and we need to be confident that all safely aspects are covered. We very keen to get back to our usual West Norwood Feast on the high street; now more than ever our local high streets and small traders need our support. We are working towards coming back in August, but perhaps a little smaller than usual on that occasion. For updates, stay tuned to our website and out social media chnnels.
In the meantime, we hope you enjoy our exciting July #StayHomeFeast. Please do ‘like’ and ‘share’ us amongst your friends.

The South London Botanical Institute celebrates 110 year anniversary!
The SLBI has a beautiful botanical garden, herbarium and library, and runs a wide range of courses, workshops, school visits and events for all ages. As with many places, they have had to close our doors to schools and other visitors. But behind closed doors it’s been very busy!
To celebrate 110 years since opening in 1910, SLBI are inviting everyone to join our Big Botanical Birthday Challenge. Anyone can take part and you can choose any challenge that interests you, whether it be artistic, scientific or poetic! Lots of fundraising ideas and further details can be found on our Support Us page – we can’t wait to see what botanical challenges you set yourself.
For families and schools there are free online educational worksheets and videos – Check out the website under School Visits & Families. The online events are very popular and there’s more to come over the summer holidays. These are free of charge but of course donations are always welcome. Please see the website to book.
If you are a Facebook user, our president Roy Vickery is posting a ‘Plant a Day’. He doesn’t just identify and photograph the plant for you but also fills you in with some of the local history, myths and folklore surrounding it. You can keep up to date with all our latest news and photos on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Please do join in and contribute with your own photos. There is so much to see and share at the moment and we love to see what’s growing in your local area.
