- FEAST 1st Sunday of the month, 10am–4pm
Get into the festive spirit at Feast this Sunday with stalls old and new offering seasonal favourites to kickstart the Christmas month. The brand new Picturehouse will be showing a FREE Feast short film programme on the day and it’s the last week to enter the Spot the Odd One Out competition and win Picturehouse Plus membership…
Free short film programme!
To help celebrate the last Feast of the year and the opening of the new cinema, Picturehouse have teamed up with Feast, West Norwood and Herne Hill Free Film Festivals to bring you all a FREE programme of short films made by local film makers! The 60minute programme will be showing twice – at 12noon and at 1.45pm, just walk in and find yourself a seat. This brilliant selection of amateur shorts includes a tale of a missing dinosaur, a homage to Hitchcock, a documentary about the origin of the paintbrush, a chilling tale of a cursed dog bowl, a romantic comedy about two chopsticks in love and many more.
Spot the Odd One Out competition!
Pick up an entry form and get to know your high street window displays with this new competition. But hurry, it ends this on Sunday 9 December!. Find out more here.
Now’s the perfect chance to get on with your Christmas shopping! For children, find beautiful clothing and homeware from Robin and Bluebird, while Going Places is the perfect stall for West Norwood themed paraphernalia. Want to add your own touch? You can order personalised banners from Sewcial Circle and jewellery from Crystal & Stone.
Meanwhile don’t forget to check out The Plant Lab for handmade concrete pots and terrariums, and Dotty Designs for gifts.
We will have two new traders this month at Fresh n Green. Wild and Twisted Flowers will be there with their Christmas door wreaths, table decorations and festive mantle swags.
And then we have Sustenance Zero Waste, who sell plastic free dry food produce by weight. Bring your own containers to shop from their huge list of dry goods, including nuts, grains, sun-dried tomatoes, pulses, medjool dates and pasta, as well as organic herbs and spices and cereals. They also have a line in chemical free soap and deodorant!
You won’t be going home hungry from the Food Fair this month! Brett & Bailey will be selling their usual favourites and seasonal bakes, including their delicious White Christmas Cake.
The whole family will love the festive themed cake pops from Feast favourite Bunting & Pops, who’ll also be selling their beautiful home décors
You’ll be spoilt for choice for food and gifts at this month’s family hub, based in the grounds of West Norwood Leisure Centre.
Eat while you browse everything that the hub has to offer. Tuck into tasty New Zealand-style pastry pies from London based Piha Pies, and polish it off with a delicious dessert from Lovesome Cake.
Don’t forget to stop by the crafts and gifts stalls either. Find jewellery by new trader Temptationbydesign and Family Hub favourite Jayne Williams Designs will be making an appearance too. Sewing Unique will also be there selling lovely handmade Christmas stockings and gifts
The Retro hub will also be based in the Family hub this month as Rosebery’s have an auction on.
This is relocating to the Family Hub this month. EvelynJean is making a welcome return with her vintage clothing and accessories and French Finds are bringing their discoveries from over the Channel. Clare’s Collection is back selling vintage treasures in aid of refugees in Northern France.
Look out for these leaflets at Feast and on the high street – everything you need to get that last minute Christmas shopping for you and your family. With a map of all the NEW free parking inside too!
Dust off your gladrags and head to the Portico Gallery this Saturday 1st December for a night of delicious food and disco dancing. All ages are welcome, the fun starts at 7pm. The suggested £5 donation will support local health and wellbeing project West Norwood Wonder.
